Texarkana Man Charged Over Reported Incident

District Attorney Mael Welch said a 27-year-old Malta man faces a charge in Bowie County after a 1-year-old Texarkana girl reported being harmed near Hooks eight miles west of here early Sunday. The suspect’s name was not released and he is held in the Bowie County jail at New Boston.
