The Hope Lions Club Christmas Auction raised a gross of just over ten thousand dollars, creating a new local record. Citizens of Hope Hempstead County Prescott and others contributed merchandise cash and publicity. Funds support Christmas baskets senior citizen dinners and other community projects.
