Memphis man charged in connection with theft
A 19 year old Memphis man was taken into custody by Hope authorities Wednesday on suspicion of auto theft and later charged with a Class C felony theft of property in West Memphis Arkansas. He was identified as Jeffrey McFadden and was delivered to West Memphis late Thursday afternoon after being apprehended Wednesday while visiting Hope.

Two supertankers collide and burn off South Africa
In foggy seas off Port Elizabeth two Liberian registered supertankers Venoil and Venpet collided at about 3 a.m. EST, igniting fires and causing a 60 mile oil slick.
