Christmas Dinner At Fire Department Event Details

The Fire department held its annual Christmas dinner and party Friday night with 60 guests enjoying a gold and silver table display and Santa visiting the children. Chief Willis and Mrs. Willis were honored, Colleen Cotfea led carols, and plans for an AM dance were discussed. Rebeccia Louise No. 144 hosted a separate Christmas dinner and party at Odd Fellows Hall with about 65 attendees and gifts from a decorated tree.

Barbara LaGrone arrives from Dallas to spend the holidays with her parents Mr and Mrs A M LaGrone. Mr and Mrs AD Phillips of Little Rock join Belle Phillips and Elbert Jones for a visit. Christmas Service Planned by Presbyterian Church of Hope

The Presbyterian Church of Hope will stage a special Christmas service on Sunday December 17 at 530 PM. Planned by Mrs Vincent Foster with assistance from Mrs J W Brahen and Mrs Mack Stuart, the program features carols by organist Mrs R L Gosnell and the choir. The service includes a processional invocations scripture reading offering prayer anthem pageant presentation of The Prince Of Peace and a recessional Hark The Herald Angels Sing with benediction. Strange Disease Takes Life of 8 Year Old Girl
