Pulaski Circuit Judge William J. Kirby continued the case of Paul Lewis Staggs, 20, of Little Rock, to the January docket for a plea and possible trial date. Staggs is charged in the fatal beating of his four year old deaf mute stepson on Nov 17 and is held without bond.
