Flag Moon Rock On Display In Capitol Reception

LITTLE ROCK AP A miniature Arkansas flag taken to the moon on the Apollo 11 flight and 50 milligrams of lunar dust will be shown at the Capitol. Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller displayed the trophy Thursday saying President Nixon gave it to the state. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin collected the moon rock from the Sea of Tranquility.

Federal judges to oversee off bench activities panel

Chief Justice Warren Burger appoints 10 federal judges to monitor off bench work by judges. A three member review group will receive quarterly reports on payouts over 100 dollars from outside activities, while a seven member advisory panel will offer opinions when asked. Robb seeks Pentagon probe over massacre allegations

Maj Charles Robb, son in law of Lyndon Johnson, urged a Pentagon inquiry into reports that Marines under his command killed or injured Vietnamese civilians. Nixon Learns About Hunger Problems

Washington AP Nixon hears that current efforts fail to address hunger. A 3000 delegate hunger conference urges a national hunger emergency, an annual income floor of 5500 dollars, and free lunch and breakfast for poor children.
