Laws on Moving Out and What Tenants May Remove
A legal overview explains how a tenant decides what belongings may be taken when leaving a rental. It notes that items added by the tenant, like curtains and shelves, generally belong to the tenant if intended for personal occupancy, while improvements may be bound by how they were attached and the intent behind them. It emphasizes negotiating with landlords to avoid disputes and cites a court ruling on shrubs and soil as part of real property. The article ends with a public service feature from the American Bar Association.

TV specials show time catching up with Elvis Bardot
A New York AP review notes CBC science program on adaptable creatures and nuclear survival, then NBC Elvis Presley and Brigitte Bardot specials. Both one man shows feature star power, lavish production, and a sense time has passed. Presley’s leather look endures, Bardot flaunts exotic costuming, but both feel older and less fresh. The National Geographic Society segment contrasts with these celebrities as the enduring draws.
