Shover Springs Home Demonstration Club Meets in August
The Shover Springs Home Demonstration Club met August 16 at Mrs. Skinner’s home with the president leading. Members heard reports, discussed county and state meetings, and closed with the Lord’s Prayer. A peaches demonstration followed, with songs and tricks. The next meeting will be at Mr. Gilford Byers’s home in September. Two notable facts note coal reserves in the US and Canada and Ben Nevis’s 15 mile tunnel.
