Revered Minister J C Williams Dies at 77 in Glendale
The Rev J C Williams age 77 and father of Mrs Ben Edminston of Hope died at his daughter Mrs Ray Chamber’s home in Glendale. A Methodist preacher for 53 years, he will be buried after funeral services at Holly Springs Arkansas on Wednesday at 2:30 PM. Survived by another daughter Mrs Alva Munter of Delark Ark, two sons John J of New Orleans and Brent Edmonson, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ed McKinley 74 former Arkansas labor commissioner died at Baptist State Hospital in Little Rock after a period of illness. He began as deputy labor commissioner in 1916 and was promoted to commissioner by Governor Futrell in the 1930s serving until retirement in 1941. A native of Murfreesboro Tennessee he lived in Osceola and Paragould where he ran printing and publishing businesses. Surviving are his son Ed McKinley Jr attorney of Little Rock and two grandchildren.
