Miss Trimble, former Lindenwood College student and ALB graduate from Louisiana State University, now teaches at Columbia University after completing teacher training there. Mr Murphree, a University of Texas alumnus and Phi Beta Kappa member, has taught at Columbia University for three years while pursuing degree requirements. he served as a naval lieutenant in World War II.
