Klan Said Using Organizations to Aid Group

New York August 12 Pie The Ku Klux Klan is operating in many states through front organizations such as veterans and women’s groups. Daniel Duke assistant attorney general of Georgia and special prosecutor in Georgia’s attempt to revoke the Klan’s charter said he found photographs and literature linking bandsmen and Klansmen. He noted the Klan claims to be out of existence yet uses same meeting places and symbols. He cited figures claiming millions spent annually on sports in the United States and noted anglers’ expenditures.

Flying Club to Breakfast in Hope Sunday

The Arkansas Private Flyer's Association, about 12 to 14 members with 25 people, will fly to Hope Sunday for breakfast. New officers were elected in Little Rock, and Ed Linzey, the new vice president, will lead the delegation. Wife Gives Up Honor to Save Husband

Mrs. Doris Murray testified to free her husband Donald Murray after he was accused of murdering his lover. A jury of eight women and four men acquitted him after 43 minutes of deliberation. Murray remained pokerfaced as the verdict was read, then shook hands with jurors and thanked them. She said she had felt hatred but declared love for her husband in the end.

Mussolini's Body Recovered From Certosa Convent

Milan dispatch reports Benito Mussolini's body, exhumed on April 22 by Fascist sympathizers, found last night in the Certosa convent at Pavia. A 20-year-old fascist, Antonio Parozzi, confessed leading to the recovery.
