All three died within seven to thirteen miles of the stranded vehicle as searchers found the sun scorched bodies in Saline Valley after they had left a spring oasis behind.
Washington AP reports the Agriculture Department estimates Arkansas rice at 4,600 pounds per acre and 23,690,000 hundredweight total. Soybeans are projected at 22 bushels per acre with 94,776,000 bushels produced. Peanuts yield 45 million pounds, and winter wheat 32 bushels per acre totaling 9,632,000 bushels.
