Robert T. Hays 65 longtime El Dorado Daily News managing editor died of a heart attack in South Arkansas. A Sedalia Mo. native, he joined El Dorado in 1924 rising from sports editor to managing editor in 1938. Known for his warm personality and tireless work, Hays left a lasting mark on Arkansas journalism.
