Hurie resigns as president of the College of the Ozarks

Dr Wiley Lin Hurie ends a 26 year tenure as president of the College of the Ozarks after resigning for health reasons. Vice President Fred A Walker becomes acting president effective September 1. Hurie, 64, is named president emeritus and board member for life and will retire to Petersburgh Indiana with his wife.
