Names kept secret in Arkansas Razorback ticket list ruling
Circuit Court Judge Warren Wood ruled the University of Arkansas need not reveal names of recipients of complimentary football tickets. Five students at the Little Rock campus sued under the Freedom of Information Act seeking the list. The judge said the act does not contemplate disclosing recipient identities and that curiosity alone is not a sufficient public interest. He noted the list is kept to show to auditors and Southwest Conference teams, and public disclosure could lead to harassment of ticket recipients.

Fry argues one-year make-good scholarships could motivate players and notes future coaching leverage starts in 1973. Babe Ruth hits 60th homer of 1927 season off Tom Zachary in New York.
