Mysterious death of Hope man Wm Olmstead after release
William Turner Olmstead 33, Hope native, paroled last Thursday from the State Hospital for Nervous Diseases at Little Rock, died Friday at his sister’s home in Shreveport under mysterious circumstances. Coroner’s telegram says autopsy found traumatic death with probable foul play, possible blow to the head. Funeral set for Saturday at Herndon-Cornelius, with Rev. Robert Moore officiating. He is survived by sister and brother Joe Olmstead of San Antonio.
