An 11 year old Canada Geese pair produced three goslings on Friday April 22 near a back yard preserve. The pair has a long record of successful nesting while a mixed pair with domestic Chinese geese failed in their first year.
Syrian troops seized a central Beirut district in a large scale search operation targeting Iraqi backed Palestinian guerrillas and a radical Lebanese group led by Issam el Arab. Casualties were reported as high and hospitals said the morgue is full. Curfew limited ambulance movement as authorities arrested several suspects.
