Couple Drowned in River Near Marianna Arkansas
Ingram Jerry Jr and Karen Ingram both of Forrest City died in a boat capsizing on the St Francis River east of Marianna. The Nesbitts, also of Forrest City, swam ashore after the boat flipped as the couple stood to avoid water spray. The bodies were recovered in knee deep water. Governor Rockefeller and Wilbur Cohen will keynote the 56th Arkansas Conference on Social Welfare in Little Rock with about 500 attendees from 24 agencies and groups. The conference runs from April 30 for three days.
