Jessie Trout, author and missionary to Japan, will speak at 11:00 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church. Trout, associate director of Emergency Mission Work for Disciples of Christ, has long studied Oriental peoples and worked in Tokyo and Akita under the United Christian Missionary Society. She served as Dr. Toyohiko Kagawa's secretary and recently published Forward in Mission and Education.
