Two Killed in Collision near Forrest City Arkansas
Two people died in a nighttime two car crash on U S 70 about one mile east of Forrest City. Victims were Walter Louis Haskins Jr. 45 of Memphis and James Edgar Lucas of the Heth community St Francis County. Lucas was thrown into the path of another vehicle and struck by a car driven by Gordon Gillespie 38 of Fort Worth Texas. Theodore Black 30 of Proctor crossed the center line and collided with Haskins' car, according to State Trooper Roy Kirkhosser.
