Dust Storm Aftermath Clears Western Kansas Streets
Work crews in western Kansas cities cleared streets of heavy silt left by a severe dust storm. Dust drifts one to three feet covered highways while jack Rabbits and dead cattle lay on drifted barbed wire fences. Sun returns but dust clouds linger over the region and toward the south. The wheat crop is likely a total loss with other crops salvageable if rain comes.
