Swim Record Set At AAU Short Course Meet in Dallas
Susie Atwood and Gary Hall led a night of record breaking at the National AAU Short Course Championships in Dallas. Atwood set an American record in the 400-yard individual medley and helped Lakewood Aquatic Club to an American mark in the 400-yard medley relay while also anchoring a top finish in the 200-meter backstroke. Hall lowered the American record in the 200-yard individual medley, and Steve Genter set a meet record in the 200-yard freestyle. The pool length prevented world records from being official, due to the 25-yard Loos Fieldhouse facility.
