In Little Rock on April 5 the AAA executive committee studied a proposed injury insurance program for high school athletes. The group approved a study and may vote later on compulsory versus voluntary coverage by schools. A voluntary plan could begin before the 1947 football season, with fees from participating schools pooled to cover medical and hospital costs for injured students.
