Training School at Blevins a Community Success
The Cooperative Training School at Blevins closed Friday night after a week of study aimed at church school and adult education. Twelve communities joined as attendance remained strong despite bad weather. Certificates were granted to dozens of participants across Young People and Community Problems classes, with six denominations represented and credit awarded through the Arkas Congress of Parents and Teachers. The effort, led by Reverend Charles H Giessen, is touted as a first in the state and likely an annual event.
