McKengle's Merry Makers closed a successful engagement here Saturday night. A watch prize awarded to Irene Ford after the performance. Council Accepts Plan for Water System Project

At a special meeting the Common Council accepted the plan for a new water system by J B Newell of Newell Growser Walsh. Advertisements for bids for construction were authorized contingent on sale of bonds. Work to begin May with completion by November. Councilmen Weight Brostis and Hall named a special committee to push negotiations and secure rights of way.
