Boy Hero at Mosier Drowns Saving Companion
Ber King sacrificed himself while rescuing Carlson in Mosier Creek pool above the falls. King, who could swim, jumped in after his non swimming friend, helped reach shallower rocks, but perished in deep water. Carlson survived with injuries after heroic attempts to revive him.
