Mood River Apple Growers Elect New Board at Annual Meeting
The Mood River Apple Growers Union held its annual stockholders meeting Saturday with large attendance and discussions on organization affairs. The old board was nearly reelected. new members include C. H. Sproat L. B. Clark Dethman E. H. Shepard G. A. McCurdy J. L. Carter Geo. W. Simona V. Winchell and O. L. Walters. A letter from Congressman Hawley about the Lafean Will was read. Debates covered a 10 cent per box marketing fee, director remuneration, grading responsibility shared by growers and packers, and labor wage standards. A vote of thanks to the board was adopted and the meeting adjourned.

C Lo Rogers sells the Chas Plog place a 60 acre orchard to P Jordan and Ao Jd Gondtmnan both Portland businessmen for 36000. The seller Frank Chandler had previous ownership and Plog says rent will total four thousand from the sale along with apple proceeds. Lingittat personnel contracts were opened in W Stark's office and excavation begins Monday for a new house in the Heights.
