Roxton Lodge Plans 100th Anniversary Observance
Roxton Lodge No 543 AF and AM will mark its centennial with a public 6 PM observance on Saturday June 27 featuring a showing of the film This Is Masonry and installation of officers for the new year. Past master Talma Lee Brown and current officers are named, with John Newman of Deport serving as master of ceremonies and Charlie Cleburn of Blossom installing. The lodge hall on Harrison Ave hosts the event, recalling the lodge’s 1881 charter and the 29 members at that time, now 103 members.
