Two Honey Grove Men Die In Early Sunday Crash Near Bonham
Two Honey Grove men died in a head on crash on Highway 78 eight miles north of Bonham at 12:15 a.m. Sunday. Lee Vernon Gray 65 driving a 1966 Chevrolet died at a Bonham hospital six hours after the collision. Lionel C. Burris 27 died in Bonham hospital. The driver of the other car Glenda Pearson 22 of Bonham is in critical condition in Sherman hospital. Leroy Sanders 20 of Honey Grove in fair condition in Bonham hospital. Funeral plans for Burris and Gray are pending. The Sunday deaths bring Fannin County traffic fatalities to eight for the year.

Christmas Seal X-ray Unit to Visit Honey Grove

The unit will also be in downtown Bonham Tuesday with same hours. Johnny Avery of the Dallas Area Tuberculosis Association organizes the location and staff. The agency urges an annual X-ray for all adults over 15 to help detect chest diseases including cancer heart disease emphysema and tuberculosis.
