Petrified Forest to Host Bicentennial Travel Center Opening
The Visitors Center at Petrified Forest holds an informal grand opening this Saturday June 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. with Bicentennial coordinator Jon Erickson Ted De Grazia and a curator from the Fred Harvey Collection in attendance. De Grazia's Navajo Indians oils will be shown through summer. The remodeled center includes a travelers orientation room an auditorium a lounge and additional exhibits and films for visitors.
