Florida man beaten at Petrified Forest. four suspects nabbed
A 22 year old Miami man was assaulted Friday at Tawa Point in Petrified Forest National Park. He was left bound and severely beaten. he later learned his alleged attackers were arrested in Greeley Colorado. His white 1976 Matador, with Florida registration and no plates, was stolen along with cash and travelers checks. An old Chevy found near Painted Desert entrance is believed linked.

Four escapees from the Navajo County jail are indicted on charges of injury to the jail and escape, plus two counts of burglary.
