Amuck Navajo reported near Allen Baugh Ranch

Sheriff Woods and Don Despai chased rumors of a crazed Navajo on the prairie near the Allen Baugh Ranch. They found a saddle and hoof prints but could not locate the rider as cattle tracks obscured the trail. The horse likely rode off with its bridle still on.

Henning of Navajo-Apache Bank and Trust Co. was in Winslow Sunday and Monday. Sheriff Joe Woods visited Albuquerque last week and returned Sunday. Local children suffer from whooping cough with several ill. Cold Storage and Ice Plant nearly completed and ready to stock with various foods. leave standing ice orders. A Lopez bought a cement block machine for his new residence to be built soon. Judge R. C. Smith left today for Snowflake and other county areas and will be away until Sunday.

Howell Jones and W F Taliaferro filed scrip in Phoenix for 32 841 acres to join a Little Colorado reclamation project near Holbrook. Promoters Sherman Church and J H Sherman J F Church expand holdings to over 50 000 acres for Rio Colorado and Casa Grande schemes. Jones and Taliaferro plan to Kansas City after paying nearly 2000 in filing fees. Snowflake Prof Joseph Peterson and locals Billie Williams and Hans Hansen visit.
