Lands Open for Homestead Entry in Sitgreaves N F Arizona

Notice announces 318.85 acres in Sitgreaves National Forest Arizona will be opened for settlement and entry under homestead laws at Phoenix land office on August 22 1921. Qualified prior claimants with agricultural bona fides before January 1 1906 have a preference right. The notice lists two parcels amended for John Bowler of Heber and L B Turley of Snowflake with associated H E numbers and amended lists. J Bruce Assistant Commissioner of the General Land Office dated July 1.

Lawsuit Filed in Navajo County Superior Court

In the Navajo County Arizona Superior Court a complaint by W. R. Scorse against Byron M. Terrill and others including Doe Rue and Doe Roe Companies seeks legal action. Defendants are summoned to appear in Holbrook within twenty to thirty days or face default judgment per June 4 1921 seal and clerk notices.
