Overland Cars Sold At Rate Of A Car A Day In Holbrook
W W Franklin, local Overland agent, sold about one car daily from a shipment of six received last week and another six arrived this week. The new Willys Knight Six in the lot is praised for a noiseless, powerful motor. A new artificial ice plant in Holbrook, owned by Holbrook Light Power Co., produced its first product last Monday, plans to sell at the plant only due to late-season operations, with capacity of 5 tons daily.

Mrs D J Thomas entertained a group of friends on Tuesday afternoon with special guests Mrs Julius Wetzler of Los Angeles and Mrs Henry Warren of San Diego. Mesdames Perkins and Hennessey left Thursday to spend the rest of the summer at Long Beach. Death of N P Olson prominent Phoenix contractor dies
N P Olson president of Olson Construction Company died at home on North Ninth Avenue after long illness linked to a prior accident. He was 38 and leaves a widow with two children, Helen and Vera. Noted for work on the Noll building and several public projects, funeral plans to be announced. He also built Holbrook’s Babitt Bros. building and the new schoolhouse.
