National Woolgrowers meet largest livestock convention ever held

National Livestock Convention in El Paso Centering on Major Event

The Nineteenth Annual Convention of the American National Livestock Association will be in El Paso Texas January 25 27. It is expected to attract the largest attendance of cattle and sheep producers packing house interests buyers feeders and wool buyers in the history of livestock conventions.

Sheep Population in Valley Firms Up Pasture Plans

The Gazette reports an estimated 250000 to 300000 sheep now on valley pasture. About 100000 cluster near Mesa Chandler Gilbert, another 100000 in Buckeye and Liberty, and 50000 to 100000 on the north side of the river near Phoenix. All will be shorn here before moving north for summer pasture.
