Arizona livestock report shows state stock values and counts
The United States Weather Bureau and the Interior Department compiled a five year livestock report for Arizona reaching Prescott. It lists 118000 horses 7000 mules 44000 milch cows 739000 other cattle 1761000 sheep and 31000 hogs with state and national price averages. Horses average 70 dollars in Arizona vs 108 nationwide while mules are 104 locally vs 112 nationally. Milch cows fetch 74 versus 55 nationally. Range cattle are lower in Arizona, hogs sit above the national price at 12 versus 9.87. Range cattle have fallen from 796000 in 1910 to 791000.

Plan to split exam costs for railroad land valuation
