Court Calendar Sets Trials After Law and Motion Day
Last Tuesday was law and motion day in superior court. Judge Sapp called the calendar and set jury cases for the jury session starting Monday Feb 28, with other cases scheduled for various dates. Winslow Justice Court Hands Out Multiple Examinations
In Winslow last week Justice Hansen's court bound four defendants over to superior court on charges of illegal sale or giving away intoxicating liquor. Defendants include T Myers, Pedro Silvas, Geo Parker, and Geo Owens. Silvas pled guilty and awaits sentencing. Myers, Parker, and Owens pled not guilty and await trials. Mrs. Mattie Peters also pled not guilty to aggravated assault and remains bound over.

Navajo County Seeks Road Planer Bid for 1916 Contract
Invitation to bid for a combined scarifier planer and roller to Navajo County Arizona. Specifications require blades at least 25 feet long 12 inches wide and 1000 pounds each sharpened on both edges wheel tires at least 6 inches wide and capable of covering 12 to 20 feet. Rev W B Cole and W A Parr of Winslow met with mill representatives in Flagstaff on Thursday to discuss lumber for the new Methodist church at Winslow. Dr Thomas Hambly of the Flagstaff Federated church will deliver the laying of the cornerstone address on the 17th.
