Hobbs Eagles host Lovington at Hobbs Athletic Field Thursday at 2 30. After a 7 6 loss earlier in the season Lovington aims for revenge and an upset against the Eagles who seek a strong finish with only two conference defeats. Local admission remains 25 and 50 cents.
Sealed bids due by 10:00 A.M. December 2, 1935, for the construction of Federal Lands Highway Project No. 4 B in Eddy and Tea Counties New Mexico on U S Route 62 between Carlsbad. Work includes grading drainage surfacing and miscellaneous construction. Bid must include a $3500 bid bond and be bid with Project W P 1 S 241 A. low bidder awarded the contract.
Roswell remains undefeated as the Coyotes overpower Hobbs 27 to 7. Bechtel connects with Baker for a 32 yard score in the third period. Roswell gains 12 first downs while Hobbs has 10 and Hobbs completes 10 of 27 passes with one interception.

R M Wood and Dorthea Cutler married in Lovington, she a Hobbs High School graduate. they plan to reside in Hobbs. Inde Parrish and Erma Poole wed in Lovington, she the daughter of Mrs Edith Newton. The groom worked at Thompson Hardware and has lived in Hobbs.
Hobbs residents face a Friday notice of suit for all delinquents who do not settle by Saturday November 30. State and County taxes must be paid by then to avoid penalties. D. C. Berry announced a sale of property with unpaid taxes at Lovington on December 2.
Hobbs grammar and Hobbs high school teachers joined a Saturday night cowboy party in the school gym. Guests wore cowboy costumes and enjoyed a chuck wagon supper served at the close of the event.
Woodmen and Circle and their guests enjoyed a venison banquet Tuesday evening at the lodge hall with thirty five attendees. Dr. Rave Babelmen J. Gootwi was the principal speaker.

FL Puckett of Garls’ here Tuesday. Dr. Cook, B. A. D. theater, received degree at Baylor University.
