The text grants the Historical Register authority to issue warrants to apprehend sub-governors deputies and directors who refuse examination or fail to answer interrogatories. Those detained may be sent to the Fleet without bail until examination or until compliance. Refusal to reveal estates or concealment leads to felony and possible death as a felon.
