Bonds Offered to Pollitz Co for Territorial Loan

In Honolulu Edward Pollitz & Co of San Francisco bid to take the entire Territoral bond issue at par less two percent commission. The bid, sealed in the Doric mail, arrived with letters revealing the firm’s intent. Treasurer Kepoikai notes the bid is better than New York four and a half percent, after exchange and handling costs are considered, and hopes outside ownership will bring fresh capital to Hawaii.
