Hilo Development Association Forms At Firemen’s Ball
The first meeting to organize a chamber of commerce style group in Hilo led to the naming of The Hilo Development Association. Attendees debated a suitable title, with A. L. Louisson proposing a development focus, and a committee set to report next meeting. Delegates for a Republican Territorial Convention in Hilo were also announced for April 21, 1904.
