Executive notice from Acting Governor A J C Atkinson states all public offices will be closed on Monday July 4 1994 in Honolulu Hawaii due to legal holiday. The Capitol notice dated June 27 1994 announces the closure.

Income tax notice requires all individuals of lawful age and all corporations or agents to file sworn income returns for the year ending June 30. Returns must be made to the Tax Assessor of the district of residence or corporation location during July. Implemented by NC Willp ong, Tax Assessor, Third Division.
The Fourth of July Committees announce a full day of festivities including races sports baseball and a grand ball with an elaborate program of ovation and entertainment. Preparations are underway for a complete day of amusement.
