Hilo Railroad Co. announces a July 13 1905 timetable for passenger trains to Volcano with Sunday reception. Excursion tickets between all points sold Saturdays and Sundays and valid to Monday noon. New Hawaii Forestry Superintendent Begins Inspections

Ralph B. Hosmer arrives in Honolulu as the new Forestry Superintendent and leaves immediately for a Kohala and Hamakua district inspection tour aboard the Kiwau with A. W. Carter. He will base at Waimea for two to three weeks to assess conditions and organize the forestry division, planning broader islandwide visits and a general policy for the Territory's forest administration.

Washington January 12 Prince Kuhio Kalanianaole Delegate from Hawaii faced a disorderly conduct accusation tied to a Honolulu attorney Charles Clarke. Friends in court cheered the favorable outcome. Also same day Kuhio introduced bills for Federal buildings in Hilo and Honolulu and a revenue cutter. and an elections contest bill. Democratic National Committee chose St. Louis for the next national convention on July 6.
