Rickard Impeachment Probe Split to Police Committee
At a Friday meeting the Board of Supervisors agreed to entrust impeachment charges against Deputy Sheriff Wm. J. Rickard of Honokaa to the Police Committee Fernandez Makuakane and Kalaiwaa. County Attorney Williams advised against holding hearings outside the county seat and suggested the panel in Honokaa begin deliberations at 10 o clock today with subpoena power, reporting back by December 1. Deputy Rickard is in Hilo for court.
