The Republican District Committee failed to have a quorum to endorse a successor to W. I. Madeira. Chas Siemsens has withdrawn in favor of Norman K. Lyman, likely leading to a walkover for Lyman with several executive council members backing him. Other items note court delays and multiple local cases with various verdicts and sentences.
