In the Fourth Circuit Court Territory of Hawaii petitions seek real estate use to pay debts and expenses of estates. Hearing set for September 7 at 9:00 a.m. in Hilo with notices to all interested parties. Also guardianship petition for Henry Nakapuaht hearing on September 15 at 9:00 a.m. at South Hilo Court House. Estate of Gus Schwartz petition to examine accounts and finalize distribution, hearing on September 8 at Chambers South Hilo. All notices dated August 1905 and signed by Clerk Daniel Porter with deputy Chas Hitchcock.
Notice to creditors of Daniel Iwika Wailani deceased. Tiana Wailani named Administratrix. Claims must be filed with vouchers within six months at Alukuli or with attorney PS Lyman in Hilo Hawaii. Date August 27 1905.

In Honolulu Eddie Jones, also known as Edward M. Jones, shot his former wife and wounded his mother in law on Kinau street near Alapai. The assault began after midnight as Jones approached the two women on a lanai and opened fire, missing the first shot but killing Mrs Parmenter with a later shot. Police and spectators gathered, Jones fled, and a reward of 500 dollars is offered for his arrest. Readville reports California mare Lou Dillon trotted a mile in two minutes flat, breaking Cresceus 1901 record.
