Public Lands Office announces actions under authority of Edward 8 Boyd Commissioner dated March 16 1903. Details pertain to land management and related official postings for public notice and compliance.
Notice is given to all creditors of Higaki Shozo, deceased, of Hilo Hawaii. Claims must be presented duly authenticated to Wise & Rows, attorneys, in Hilo within six months from the date of this notice or be barred. Ikeda is administrator. Attorneys for the estate are listed.
Notice announces administrator appointments for estates in the Fourth Circuit Hawaii. Creditors must file verified claims within six months, with details naming offices in Hilo and law firms Ridgway Ridgway and Wist Ross. Also reports an annual meeting and officer elections for Volcano Stables on Trans Station Co. in Hilo on March 29.
Sealed tenders will be received by the Superintendent of Public Works until 12 1, Thursday, April 16, 196g, for constructing a portion of the Publica to Valeatc House Road Hawaii. The remains of General Sir Hector Macdonald arrive in Scotland on the way to England for a Guarantial inquiry into an alleged immortality charge. Though highly regarded, no national funeral is planned and Scots question the decision amid debates on his wartime service. Sir Hector rose from common soldier to major general and was known for strict discipline with Highland regiments.
A public sale will be held on April 11 in rooms on Church Street adjoining the Herald Office to sell General Merchandise Furniture Dry Goods and Groceries with sales continuing biweekly. T H Ray.
