Westminster Parents Ask School Bus Transport Change
About 30 parents in the Westminster area near North Avenue petitioned the Board of Education on September 42 to provide bus transportation to Saybrook School. State law limits transport funds when the distance is under two miles, while concerns about crossing guards and split kindergarten enrollments were raised. The board ordered a survey by Dr. Wayne Branom to find a solution.
