Rotary Plans Scholarship Fund And Benning of Barbershop Harmony

The Hill side Rotary Club formed a scholarship committee with J. Franklin Reinhard as chairman and Thad deus J. Jascor as president. Harold Ben zing and Neil Buie join the committee. The club will offer 200 tickets for $100 to a Pop Warner football game to be announced later at the high school field. Walter Schorr Jr. will lead the Barbershop Harmony fundraiser with Albert Swider and Martin Preis assisting. A note from the Washington Rock Girl Scouts was received and the club arranged for girls to attend Camp Dover for a weekend.

Upsala College picks chairman for 1964 homecoming events

Frederick Raffa of 609 Seo t is chosen to head Upsala College Registration Committee for the two day homecoming at Hotel Suburban East Orange. Saturday features a 10:30 a.m. parade with eight sororities and nine fraternities competing in floats built around a comic strip theme. At 1:30 p.m. the football team faces Lycoming at Viking Field followed by a post game social.

Women Will Hear Senate Aspirants

A. D. Senator Harrison A. Y. Hams Jr. of Westfield and Bernard M. Shanley, Republican candidate, will speak at 6 30 p m Monday October 26 to the Hillside Business and Professional Women's Club at the Kingston Restaurant 1181 Morris Avenue Union. The meeting is open to the public with reservations due by October 20 through Mrs. Joseph Einloth. Mrs. Jack Noble is chairman of the program.
