Newark man sentenced in barbiturate case with probation

Jacqueline Levey of 1490 Liberty Ave reported a spare tire taken from a car parked at 1484 Liberty Ave. Vincent Giordano of 84 Underwood St Newark said 162.50 was stolen from a cash box on a car seat parked at 35 Batley Ave. Judy Ginsberg of 415 Hollywood Ave reported a bowling ball worth 30 stolen from her car on Livingston Road. TAX OFFICE OPEN The Hillside Tax Office will open October 18 25 and November 1 from 7 PM to 8 PM to collect fourth quarter taxes due November 1 1965.
